![]() ![]() ![]() No sooner than I sat down, some young security rookie immediately came over to me and told me I had to return to my seat. I got up and sat down (there had been a guy squatting on that seat, who was not ticketed for it earlier). Given that the club opened two hours before the show, presumably to sell as much alcohol as they possible could, the interruption of drunken people staggering past us through the show was ridiculous! At one point, I realized that if I just walked across this aisle from my seat, there was a seat directly across from me that had been pretty much vacant throughout. Our aisle seat put us in the express lane for the women's room and the bar. We were "lucky" to be on an aisle and I use that word VERY loosely. You could practically shoehorn into your seat. We were looking at a chart, however, what we didn't realize was that the tables would be set up so that Seats 1&2 are across from each other as opposed to side-by-side at a postage-stamp sized table for 4. I finally called Ticketmaster to get them. We wanted to be fairly close to the stage and had great difficulty accessing the Ticketmaster site the moment the tickets went on sale. However, if you are not familiar with this place, be VERY careful about the seating. His performance was fine, the warm up band was poor and a bad pairing, perhaps no fault of the Ballroom's. We purchased tickets well in advance to see Joe Walsh. We've been to this forum in the past and, perhaps it was just the type of audience that gravitated to this particular show that made it less than satisfactory. ![]()
